Outhouse digging is fairly new to me. I started out diving the lakes of Michigan and exploring underwater wrecks. I Purchased a underwater metal detector and started discovering treasures underwater in the muck…..I never thought i would be finding treasures in a completely different sort of Muck. Erin Beute is an award-winning SAG-AFTRA actor, director, composer and screenwriter. She holds a BA in Performing Arts Education, which has informed her love of story and music, and Has shaped her work as a content creator. As an actor, she is best known for her portrayal of Miranda Gilbert in the CW Network show, THE VAMPIRE DIARIES. She can also be seen on FINDING CARTER, POWERS, and BURN NOTICE. Her network and studio credits for FOX, CBS, NBC, LIFETIME and more are available on IMDb. Erin wrote, produced, and starred in the short film, BIRD’S EYE, an official selection at 30+ festivals, winning 15 awards including two Best Actress, Best Short Film, Best
Music Score, and Best Screenplay. BIRD’S EYE is now being developed as a multi-season series. Erin’s pilot for the historic worker’s rights series WOMAN’S WORK won Best Teleplay at the Academy-Qualifying Cinequest Film Festival, Fort Myers FF, and Orlando FF. Erin teaches film acting at Book From Tape Studios in Orlando and SHINE in Atlanta.
Marian has worked in film production on and off since the 1990s. From feature films to commercials to the number one Globally Watched TV Show, CSI: Miami. She is familiar with locating and setting up shoots for film…so now she is involved in getting the scoop on the poop as it were and locating historical dig locations. Often we visit locations that are more than happy to have us showcase the city and experience the rich history and what the city has to offer as part of the dig/show.
I Had the nick name of ‘Cash’ as when I was born in Tuson Az it cost 100 dollars. Am an army veteran and a retired public servant. Got into finding historical treasures such as bottles and coins etc about 25 yrs ago. Seeing things found from the past kinda put you back there. The articles used even 200 years ago is always waiting to be discovered and I love to be the one.
Always been a treasure hunter at heart even since I was a little boy exploring the creek by my house where I grew up digging small dumps started metal detecting when I was 12 years old in 1972 . Started privy digging somewhere around age 35 really got bit by the bug and never look back.
